I wish it were easier to bounce back from my pre pregnancy and post pregnancy body and feel confident doing everything again. As a stay at home mom for five years now, I feel scared of what life will look like after this journey, when my kids are all grown and no longer depend on me.
What ever will be will be! You will always be needed by them it will just look different and you will find passions dont worry you are talented and you have so much to offer it will be hard for good things not to come to you!!!
Thank you! You made my heart melt
happily melting, lol. You also remind me of the phrase “hakuna matata.” You seem like such a fun, sweet, and kind friend… and a mama too. I think I just needed to hear this from someone who isn’t near me. I truly appreciate your time and effort ![]()
I am with you on the getting used to the postpartum body I had gestational diabetes and lost weight while I was pregnant but I always gain alot of weight while breastfeeding because the hunger is real and it is hard to feel confident after weight gain. They will always need you they will just have different needs as they grow and each stage will be a different kind of adventure. It is definitely so hard watching them grow but it is so cool to watch them turn into amazing little people
I mean every word! Also right back at you ! You seem so fun and like a great person to have in someone’s life honestly ![]()

Tell em about it ! I always need to hear it from someone else, I never listen to my own advice I sweeeaaarrr
I wonder about this too, but our kids will always be part of our lives. It’s important to have a hobby or something you can enjoy alone so your whole identity isn’t your kids. I think it would make the transition easier, but I don’t think it is ever easy for anyone. I feel like my daughter will probably living be with me into her adult life. It’s just a sense I get. Especially since my husband is 15 years older than me and not in good health. He will be 78 when she turns 18. We want him to live a long time, but if I’m being realistic, he will probably pass away in her early adult life, and it will be just my daughter and I until she’s ready to start a family of her own.
