This week has been a NIGHTMARE… yesterday our town experienced a derecho event… the first one in 6 years… trees are down everywhere, flooding, power outages etc…
Our power has been out since 3pm est yesterday and it’s looking like it will be out until atleast midday tomorrow more likely Friday……
If I wasn’t still breastfeeding I don’t think I’d be as concerned with the situation it is what it is and atleast it’s not super hot to make it unbearable without ac… but all my milk is frozen right now except when I nurse…
Thank god we were able to find a relatives house who has a deep freezer I was able to take my milk to. But along with no power we also have no water and no way for me to warm up milk very conveniently 
so I broke out my portable bottle warmer and it’s getting more use out of it then when we’re on the go. I’m so thankful I purchased it months ago because it’s the only way I can warm up milk without going to somebody else’s house or going to a restaurant and asking for boiling water….
so my tip for moms is if your thinking of buying something that may seem over the top or like it’s not worth it and wouldn’t be used much, just get it! I really struggled wanting to break down and buy the warmer, but now even my husband was like thank goodness you got that or we’d be giving our baby ice cold milk which she REFUSES to drink lol.
I’d like to throw out a prayer to any other moms/ families who were in the line of that storm yesterday because it was TERRIBLE. Stay safe out there yall 
I’ve definitely had that happen where I’m like “I probably wont use this that much” and then end up using it all the time lol. Hoping your power and water are back on soon mama
