I discovered if we do our solids outside it not only helps reduce my anxiety but he was more excited to try things! The weather has been amazing so I thought why not? I hope this sticks so far so good. I do still wish my partner was home for these moments more. I could have also been calmer because he was here rooting us on like a cheerleader

That is such a great idea! I love this! I’m going to have to try feeding my daughter outside now! How are you liking that highchair? Is it one of the ones that grows with your child?

It’s so nice! Definitely give it a shot! We love to have dinners outside I. The summer so it’s nice to share that experience with our son!
And I LOVE this high chair it does grow with baby and even becomes a adult chair

When I first started feeding with my little one, I honestly feel so uncomfortable doing it by myself, but if my husband was home, even if he wasn’t doing it with me, I instantly felt so much more comfortable. I decided to make it less stressful and I just started to do it with him. My baby isn’t great eater and we had a very slow start. We’re super casual under one.

Yeah having him with me makes it sooo much better! But I do feel a little more confident now just every time he tries something new my heart skips a beat a little

There’s just something about being outside that makes everything better. I just had mever thought about having a meal outside.
That is such a cool high chair! That’s amazing that it converts into an adult chair. So practical!

It’s great! We use to do dinners outside in the evenings when I was a kid and watch the fireflies it was something I’ll never forget so I’m hoping to give my son a similar experience. Except we don’t have fireflies in California unfortunately.
the DinerPal high chair is great!! And it’s real wood so it’s just nice in the home super easy to clean and also it can make a great step stool! Haha it also turns into a standing platform for kids as long as your table isn’t a high top it’s pretty neat

Awww that is such a sweet memory of watching the fireflies! I remember we used to try to catch them when I was a kid. We really love being outside too

I use to catch them and put them in a jar!!! Loved them Texas had a lot of fire flies and geckos I miss warm Texas summer nights.
Oh I personally really like ours so far! It isn’t travel friendly thought but I think it’s great in the long run because it’s one item that you can use for YEARS

I did too! I can’t say I miss the warm nights though…Im hot like all the time. It’s sucks lol.
This is the one we use for travel. We even took it with us to restaurants for awhile. It folds up really compact. It fits easily under the stroller too

It really is nice to have! We use it on a chair in the bathroom now that we use a shopping cart cover on the restaurant high chairs when we go out. When we travel out of town, we use it as her highchair. I got mine at Walmart, but they are on Amazon too.

They’re so nice! They are designed to be a shopping cart cover and restaurant high chair cover. Mine has loops where you can attach toys. It gives me so much peace of mind! I forgot to bring mine with me when we went to the store earlier, and when I put my daughter in the cart seat, she started chewing on the handle immediately. I was like no no!!! I had to take her out and carry her.
