I’m interested in the baby gate since I have a cat. Mamas, how do you usually deal with pets with babies? Do you put them into different rooms?

I didn’t know Momcozy makes this gate! I need to replace my old ones soon.
I would definitely seperate them until you know how they do with baby. We first got our dog to smell a baby blanket and went from there. I don’t leave them alone in a room tho. My baby loves his dog and will try and poke him in the eye or use him to pull himself up. My dogs amazing and loves the attention but you never know.

Better to separate. Even if your pet does nothing to your baby, you baby probably will crawl to pets’ blanket lol

I didn’t know that Momcozy had gates. We introduced our dogs slowly and it was fine they really don’t care about the baby because they try to stay away from my older two

I have those retractable ones which are working for us, I didn’t know momcozy had those too!
I don’t have my dogs inside. Buttttt my cousin has a threee month old and one of her cats (she has three cats) attacked the baby out of no where! The cat did scratch him and we’re pretty bad they had him take antibiotics 
Her husband was right next to the baby when it happened and it was literally out of no where

I have a tall baby gate, and my cat just jumps over it. Luckily my cat is really skittish, and wants to be nowhere near my baby. I would put the cat in another room with the door shut if you are worried about your cat attacking the baby. Either that or keep a water gun on hand to spray the cat anytime it comes near your baby. This has been a fear of mine too, and I either spray the cat or chase it away if it does show an interest

I saw this as an add once and totally forgot! Yeah they also have a pet grooming vacuum hahah random information but I always find new things and I’m like what they make that too!!!??

Haha. Thank you for the great advice! My cat also wants to stay away my little one. It seems that my cat kind of hates the noise lol. When baby crying, cat is like run to her cat tree immediately.

It’s so bad that cats scratch the baby…it looks that it is better to have a gate to separate them. Sometimes it’s not the cats fault, they just want to scratch something and have no idea that it’s your baby
My cat currently gives baby cold shoulder lol. Every time baby cries or screams, cat is like wants to stay far enough away from baby But just in case when baby can crawl, she may want to catch the cat and cat may hurt her…

My 15 year old dog just looked at us like you brought another one home and doesn’t even care. Our golden retriever is 5 and is mostly an outside/ shop dog and she wasn’t bothered by the baby my husband and I are her people, she just tolerates the kids

Yea it was bad, and it’s true cats or dogs don’t understand babies which is normal. And you never know which is the main reason I don’t let my son with the dogs without me or my husband I have a husky , xl pitbull bully, and a weenie dog mixed with a pitbull

I also want to adopt a golden retriever but my husband doesn’t like dogs 
I saw lots of videos that they play with toddlers. So cute. Hope my little one will love dogs, my husband cannot prevent her to adopt a dog lol.

I love seeing other posts because how else we could’ve known Momcozy also have gates lol. Why don’t they have all their items on their site? I have a dog and he loves kids and love to jump. Good thing my godmother will have him for a few weeks when baby first gets home.

She is our second golden. our first was obsessed with our 1st baby and followed her around everywhere and acted like she was her baby it was the sweetest thing she literally just laid beside her and would play so gently with her. She was born with kidney problems and we didn’t know and we only go to have her for 3 years and when our hearts had time to heal we got another golden gilrl
