I think I’m in trouble! We walked to pick up my oldest from daycare it’s a 10 min walk for me. On the way back my youngest decided to walk the whole way except for intersection. Those I had to pick him up even to dismay.
Guess where his oldest brother was? Mostly in the stroller 
my youngest was so determined to walk and it was up hill too. I am in shock and in awe of his determination. We did celebrate with a frozen yogurt afterwards

It’s the same with my little! My 6 year old we pick up from school wants to sit in the stroller and my 1 year old loves running! 
it’s exhausting

Wow, that is impressive! I think I need to start letting my daughter walk on our walks too. I’ve been pushing her in the stroller, which she is fine with. But it wouldn’t be a bad idea for her to get some exercise too

Haha yes! It took us probably double the time with his little feet. I used the stroller to keep him contained away from the cars
Just be careful once you start it might not stop I used the stroller to keep him on the grass side of the side walk. It worked pretty well. He didn’t even want to hold my hand. When crossing the road I would pick him up. Good luck!

That’s what I’m worried about! That she will cry in the stroller when we go on walks once I start letting her walk. Thanks lol

My oldest two were like this! My oldest always wanted to be held would not walk, but the second my second starting walking (9 months) she now refuses to walk… we went hiking a few months ago and it had to have been like 3 miles and she would NOT let us pick her up!

Yea we are at that stage now. We start off in the stroller then he ends up getting out half way. Heaven forbid I put him back in there once he has the taste of freedom

I swear! We went to the Bernheim forest in Kentucky! It was so much walking but soooo worth it. I recommend if anyone wants to travel looking into this place it is gorgeous!
I should add she was 1 on this walk not 9 months I feel like I said that kind of weird she definitely did not walk

Haha yes, now I’m hooped! We do have a harness backpack once he’s more stable tho. He now walks to the car in the morning too. If you try to carry him he loses it.

They want to be independent so badly! We got one of those harness backpacks too, but so far my daughter cries when I put it on her and it becomes a tugging battle. It is a great way to carry her toys around when we are on the go

Yes. My oldest has one too. He puts his toys in it or snacks. We no longer use the harness part tho. Definitely helps them feel independent with their own bag
