Biting and breastfeeding

What I did when my son’s started bitting. I said ouch really loud basically embellished the injury a little bit. Delatch them and try again in a few mins. It does startle them and they may cry but they learn really fast that biting doesn’t get them more milk. It took only a few times before both my kids realized and stopped biting me. My nipples really appreciate this. It made breastfeeding more enjoyable.

We just finished this stage it’s not fun! I’m so thankful it worked for both my kids because those teeth hurt and I wasn’t ready to stop breastfeeding

Okay I love this but as someone who has tried all this and it’s still not working one more thing I’d like to add is a lactation consultant on one of the Momcozy webinars mentioned giving baby a frozen wash cloth and then try feeding after that!! And IT WORKED FOR ME!!

This is all great advice as well I just wanted to add incase someone else has the same problem I did agah
