Blowing Raspberries

This weeks feeding moment definitely wasn’t the quickest one.

My little girl recently discovered how to blow raspberries… and apparently she decided nursing was the perfect time to practice. Every few minutes she’d unlatch, grin up at me, blow the biggest raspberry, giggle, and then latch back on like nothing happened.

What should have been a quick feeding turned into one that took twice as long. I couldn’t help but laugh, even with milk ending up everywhere.

In those moments, it’s easy to think about the extra time, the mess, or everything waiting to get done. But one day these tiny interruptions will be memories I’ll wish I could relive.

Watching her personality bloom, even in the middle of a feeding, reminded me that breastfeeding isn’t just about nourishing her body but it’s about sharing these little moments that no one else gets to see.

Yesss! I love it! It does make the feeding a bit longer but well worth it for the giggles!

Haha this made me laugh out loud remembering when my daughter used to do that! It’s so funny, and you can’t help but laugh when they do it!
