One moment I really struggled with feeding was the pain and the difficulty in producing. As most breastfeeding moms know it can be painful for the first time. I remember having nipple cracks and cramps around my body. I would silently cry while holding in the pain because I never wanted to give up for my baby. What helped was the constant reminder of the benefits of breastfeeding was for my baby and having my sister and momma who helped me get through it. Forever thankful to have my sister who had a baby before me to give me tips and guidance making it easier for me. And thankful for my mom who gave me advice on what to do to produce more. Moral support and consistency will forever be a lifesaver!
