One moment I really struggled with feeding was when my newborn baby wouldn’t let go of the breast, and I was so tired. I didn’t have any family members nearby to help us. It was just my husband and me. And what helped me was PRAYING. Yes, trusting that God had given me the opportunity to feed my baby and that my body was completely designed to give life.
Luke 11:27 said "As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.”
In God’s Word, we find many Bible verses that give us strength to breastfeed, so I invite you to read them with faith and to enjoy the great power we have in giving life and nourishment to our babies.
