When I got pregnant with my first daughter i was so confused on what breastfeeding actually was until I met with my obgyn and they had the hospital lactation consultant come speak to me. Nobody talks about how hard it is being an unsupported first time mom. But you live and you learn.

That is so true! I wish it was more common for doctors to prepare mothers with breastfeeding info
