Breastfeeding tips

One support tip I would add for moms building their feeding routine is to get a nursing pillow. As a first-time mom, my baby had trouble latching at first, and feeding sessions were challenging. The lactation consultant advised me to get a nursing pillow. It is very helpful! It helped position my baby better, gave my arms and back support, and made breastfeeding much more comfortable. It made those early weeks feel a little less overwhelming.

I second this. I used it all throughout our NICU journey and was so helpful for practicing latching. :sparkles::brown_heart:

Yes I got a breastfeeding pillow two weeks after giving birth and then I was like why the heck did I not have one sooner

I have the same pillow! I don’t think I used mine correctly though, I could not get my baby positioned right :smiling_face_with_tear:
