You do not have to buy the fancy storage containers. I used only boxes to store my milk. First I froze it flat using a pizza tray (with wax paper to prevent freezing/ sticking to the bottom). Then I stored oldest to newest. Once one box was full I would flip it around so the oldest was facing the front. Here is the progression of milk slowly taking over my freezer with my first baby. I am a just enougher with my second baby.
This is stellar right here I love the reuse of items here as someone who appreciates upcycling this such a great use if cardboard and other things

I think this is a very smart idea to reuse these containers to store your breastmilk. I’m gonna keep this in mind next time because I hate throwing away things and I like to reuse them if possible. 
That is actually so smart!! I’ve only been using uncrustable boxes to keep them tight together to freeze flatter but that’s brilliant.
