Depending on which pump I’m using, I usually have anywhere from 4–6 pieces to take apart and clean after pumping.
The outer milk collector, connectors, and duckbill are the pieces I feel require the most attention. The outer part of the milk collector has so many curves and little crevices where milk can easily hide, so I normally use a bottle brush along with a smaller brush to get into those harder to reach areas and clean the duckbill.
Even after washing everything, I’m always a little worried that the outer milk collector, connectors, or duckbill aren’t completely clean.
So I was really curious to see how the D8 would handle my pump parts!
After running them through the D8, I noticed the connectors needed a little extra attention, but everything else came out sparkling clean! 
It’s definitely reassuring to be able to inspect my pump parts afterward and feel confident that the hard to reach areas are getting clean.
