How can I stop my baby from “clicking” while breastfeeding?

Usually that means they don’t have a good latch. I would try to unlatch and then latch again. Mines did this at the beginning a lot because she had a tongue tie but we got the hang of it and it eventually passed. If the clicking persists I would try a lactation consultant if you have one and also just make sure to give them a good burp. Most time with the clicking they are getting air while eating. Another thing is try changing positions. I hope these help. How old is baby?

Check with Lactation! Mine did this but they said it was okay. But could be the latch or a tie

I would try to get a deeper latch, doing the hamburger method helped me. I noticed it happens when my baby’s latch isn’t deep enough and it would hurt!

I’ll tell you what I do, Stimulate the nipple some then grab it by the areola and flip your nipple to the ceiling so when nah gets it it’s pointing to the roof of their mouth and they get a good latch

May just need some extra guidance on latching or a tie of some sort is happening
