Does anyone else experience clogged milk ducts? I’ve had them before, but I have the biggest one I’ve ever had right now. It takes up half my breast. It freaks me out. I’ve seen my obgyn about them before, and he said use heat and pump more often. Then I’m reading online that the new medical advice is to use ice instead of heat, and to nurse/pump as usual. I feel like ice would harden things up and make it harder for the milk to flow. Has anyone tried the ice for clogged milk ducts? ---

Have you tried sunflower lecithin supplements? I have also heard warm salt water in a haakaa draws it out so if you have one you could try that as well ---

20 oz daily never have this issue lol… 😂 While I’m so sad that I don’t have enough breast milk, I’m glad that I never have any breast issue plus I don’t do night pumping… ---

Nothing wrong with 20oz! As long as your baby is getting some breastmilk, they still get the benefits from it, even if you have to use formula along with it. But yeah, clogged milk ducts really suck! ---

@Jessica2 Okay guys, I feel so dumb! I did an extra pumping session last night because my boob started leaking and looked like it was going to pop. It turns out I was actually engorged! I haven’t been engorged since 2 months postpartum, so I didn’t even think of it being that since my daughter is almost 17 months old now. Apparently engorged pain feels similar to milk duct clog pain. I’m so glad it wasn’t a clogged duct though! ---
