✨ Confidence ✨

One thing I struggle with more than anything is self love after having a baby, I don’t feel pretty anymore I use to dye my hair and put on cute clothes but since I have had a baby I have bags under my eyes my hair has grown out to it’s natural color and I just feel like I look tired all the time, well our lovely momwalk group had free mommy and me photos and I’m so nervous to share how I look but here it goes I feel like this group is a safe space

I know I’m still me I just need to regain the confidence I once had before

I’ve deleted this post twice now and reposted it hahahaha thank you for your kind words it helps a lot and makes me feel a little less self conscious. Hahaha I have fun dressing up my son he’s such a cutie. Fun fact I ripped these overalls right after this photoshoot :sob:

Oh no you might have to put a cute patch on them :joy: I am glad you reposted it! I can understand being self conscious though I am going through that as well right now with gaining extra weight breastfeeding. I was so little while pregnant because I had to be on such a strict diet for my diabetes and I always gain so much weight as soon as I start breastfeeding but I am trying to embrace it.

Oh you are beautiful but I totally understand I am such a small person naturally it was definitely strange gaining weight fast but yes embrace it because our bodies are doing amazing things !!

And I am going to but the rip is right on the BUTT I mean like right down the middle :sob::sob: maybe a funny patch would be appropriate but it’s in quite a difficult area

Thankyou so much that’s so kind of you! This picture was the first time I brushed my hair fully and it’s still not great I also got postpartum hair loss so that doesn’t help me want to do my hair :sob: I know it will grow back but it really hits the soul hard

Thank you for posting this! It’s super relatable! For the longest time I would spend hours on makeup and my hair. I used to cosplay and travel to renfairs. Now I speed shower at 1am and do the bare minimum. I hardly leave the house unless I know there’s a changing table if it’s more than an hour out of the house. I also gained 50lbs during my pregnancy, and the weight didn’t disappear like people say. I felt a greater hunger from breastfeeding than during my pregnancy. Looking at my son, and knowing what I know, if I had a do over button, I’d still choose him and creating life. It’s been the hardest, yet most rewarding thing I’ve experienced. Your sacrifices were all worth it. In a blink of an eye your little one will be grown and you’ll have more time than you know what to do with.

I love going to the rein faire I grew up dressing up for that! I use to spend so much money dying my hair blonde and getting cute cuts and getting my eyebrows waxed and now I have postpartum hair loss. The breastfeeding Hingis UNREAL I eat way more than I ever did pregnant!! I feel that but you are so right and I feel the same way I’d do it over and over again just to have my son ! It’s so worth it just hard feeling not yourself but again you are right it’s just a season

Idk why this made me cry a little bit, maybe it’s hormones but I just feel so connected to everyone knowing we all experience this and we all think each other is beautiful I just wish we could tell ourselves that more hahaha thankyou mama that made my day

It’s good to let it out, it’s a safe space. When you have a baby so much changes. It’s like gaining a differet sense of identity.

You’re beautiful. If you don’t feel it remember that your child is an extension of you. If someone said a single thing that I think about myself, I’d have a thing or two to tell em. Even if they’re true. Baby has rolls. Yes, they’re adorable rolls, baby has thin hair. It’s still there and cute! Same with mama.

Girly can I just say you are absolutely beautiful, like you could model if you wanted to. I see that for you, it’s very natural, you’re not even trying. And the background is always so amazing and compliment you very well. :white_heart:
