Well…it finally happened. My daughter has learned how to get onto the couch on her own. Just two weeks ago she fell off the couch and hit her head. I am so nervous! I literally cant take my eye off her for even a second now. I need an extra set of eyes! I am the only one who watches her all day, and now I have to revert back to taking her with me everywhere. I can’t even step out of the room for a second. I have gotten so used to stepping out of the room for a couple minutes to get things done. I know this isn’t the worst thing that could happen, but it’s definitely an inconvenience lol.

That stage always makes me nervous! I always put some blankets and pillows at the bottom of the couch incase they fell

It is funny! She likes to chill like that and I love it! If only she had a concept of heights, we wouldn’t have a problem. As of right now, she is fearless and would just walk over the edge if I let her.
You might have more time than you think! She is 16 months old, and tall for her age. She’s 32 inches tall. So hopefully you won’t have to worry about it for awhile

My son is 28 in tall and he’s only 7 months old 
his dad is like 6 foot 2 idk we are in trouble over here and he’s also climbing on everything

Oh wow, so he’s tall for his age too! And climbing?! Oh no! I keep waiting for the day my daughter figures out how to climb onto the taller couch by the tv stand…she will be on top of the tv stand before I know it! And then there’s the cat tower…now that one’s scary! My grandson climbed up it when he was 3…we walked in the room and he was at the very top!

My son was basically in a rock climbing position on the couch hanging off the side of! He’s just like his father I swear

we had to cover the cat tower with a blanket when he came to visit for awhile
