So this morning I noticed hard beads on my nipples. Best way I can explain is it’s the size of a grain of rice maybe even smaller. I usually get it off in the shower. But this morning I rubbed it off, it was on there pretty good on both sides. I’ve actually had it since about 28w or so. Not every day but a lot of days. I’ve been wondering if it’s dried milk. I haven’t leaked anything yet but those that harden and stay. Any idea or someone else that went through? A bit bigger than what’s in the pic but very similar.whathelpedme

I would guess so! I honestly can’t recall if I ever had any dried on, it was usually a wet spot on a shirt or bra but I think I may have also had some dried! Sorry that’s not more helpful

I would think so! When I would leak before birth i wouldn’t feel it so my bras would stick to me and I would have hardened milk on me!

I’m going to try to hand express next week. See if anything comes out. I’ll be 37w in two days and start to try to naturally induce.
It could be. I use to leak when l slept while pregnant. I could only tell by the wet spots on the sheet

I would say most likely yes!!! I leaked a lot when I was pregnant and those little beefs would happen after I leaked in the middle of the night sometimes

That’s the only thing, I don’t have wet spots. That’s why it’s so confusing.

It’s hard to tell because I don’t wear a bra at night and don’t have wet spots either but idk, I’m going to hand pump next week and see if anything comes out.

Yes I’m going to ask my doctor about it tomorrow. And yes I will start to collect the colostrum next week when I’m 38w.
No I don’t. But I think it be happening during the day while I have a bra on. I’m going to pay more close attention next time it happens.

I would highly recommend collecting any colostrum you get! An IBCLC taught me how to hand express and she said to collect the “liquid gold” in a spoon then to put it all in a syringe. It’s soooo helpful to have those first few days!

Yes I’m going to ask my doctor today and start next week. Only because I have a lot to do this week and don’t want to go into labor lol.
