Don’t Lick That!

Just watering my baby here! :joy: I had no idea how often my daughter would lick the floor and literally everything else! Ever since she was 6 months old, she must taste test everything. Now that she’s 19 months old, we allow her to walk around when we are in waiting rooms. One of the first things she tries to do is lick the floor. Then she wants to lick the chairs and the windows. I never thought part of being a mom would consist of saying “Don’t lick that!” so often :joy:

I can totally understand this my daughter is always searching for to new things to try around the house :sweat_smile: We have to monitor her constantly :sob:

When I first started working with children and at a pediatrician office, I was amazed at how just about every kid licks everything, lays on the floor, or touches absolutely everything :rofl::rofl::rofl:. I honestly love watching kids be kids

Girl. My toddler decided to take her shoe off and lick the bottom of it. We were at the park after a training day​:sleepy_face::joy:

I know right?! It has something to do with their development, but I really wish they would listen when we say no.

It’s a constant battle! I swear I’m the only one who notices every little thing on the floor. Gotta be on high alert!

Dude, we actually got the flu earlier this year because of the pediatricians office! We wait in the car and have them call us now. It’s just too hard to keep my daughter from licking and touching everything

It’s so hard to break the shoe problem! It doesn’t help that when she was younger, I gave her one of her crocs that didn’t fit her anymore to teethe on. Lol
