My baby is 3 months old. Im exclusively pumping but its completely exhausting I have to find time to pump constantly and sometimes have to leave my baby crying while trying to finish pumping. I have to choose to pump instead of sleeping I also feel like not enjoying my new born completely as I worry about pumping most of the time. How does everyone cope?
I am sending you so much love and support
I can not give you advice since I pump and directly feed but I do hope you find a rhythm that works best for you. I know using my wearables from time to time helped but again I didn’t exclusively pump. You got this you are doing amazing ![]()

It’s a lot of work for sure! One thing I would suggest is to pump one side at a time so you can still hold your baby. It takes a little longer, but at least your baby is happy. You could also use an app to track how often you pump with notifications on your phone. Then you’re not constantly having to watch the time
Exclusively pumping can be so draining. I think it really helps to find a routine that works for you. Sometimes it’s okay to think about your own needs too, because moms deserve rest and better sleep just as much.
