My first pump of the day (around 5 Am)! Pumping sessionbefore heading to work. Actually, it is been part of my day since 3 weeks postpartum. What started as something I needed to do has slowly become a part of my day — and surprisingly, I really love and enjoy this quiet time.
This is so relatable.
Those 5 AM pump sessions really do become this little pocket of quiet before the day explodes—just you, your thoughts, and the hum of the pump.
I love how you said it went from “I have to do this” to “I actually enjoy this.” That shift is everything.
You’re definitely not alone—so many of us have found our own strange peace in these early‑morning pumping rituals. Here’s to more calm moments before the chaos begins. ![]()

Yes, exactly many thanks for support and for your beautifull words!
What a great out put!!
I love pumping at 5 am that’s when I do a power pump and that time really is such a relaxing moment to get us started in the day I’ve also grown to become very fond of them myself
I agree
Great job mom!
I said to myself the other day, I’d have a ton of time in my dad if I didn’t pump. You carve out time in your day for it intentionally. If you didn’t have to, you’d have more sleep, more time with your spouse, more time with your kids. It’s a job we want to do but man does it take a lot of time!!![]()
