First time mom - What helped me In the breastfeeding journey

As a first time mom, one thing I really struggled with was I wasn’t making enough milk. Hence, I was constantly wondering if my baby was getting enough, and I spent way too much time stressing over every feeding.

What helped me the most was reading other moms’ comments and advice. Instead of sitting alone with my worries, I joined the breastfeeding community. Reading other mom’s stories, tips, and encouragement made me realize that what I was experiencing was actually pretty common. It gave me ideas to try eg drinking coconut milk, power pump. It made me feel a lot less alone.

If you’re struggling too, don’t be afraid to reach out or read what other moms have shared. Sometimes, just knowing someone else has been in your shoes can make a hard day feel a little easier.

Finding a supportive space where you can share tips like power pumping or coconut milk makes the whole journey feel a lot less isolating. Hugs mama
