If you’re freezing milk, take a minute to go buy a freezer alarm they’re about $25. There are ones that cost more and ones to cost us. You see post about Mom’s losing all of their milk and you think it’s not gonna happen to you until it happens to you. Happened to me with my first baby. I lost all the first three months of milk. I was absolutely devastated.

Never knew these existed. That’s really great especially during natural disasters. Where I live several people loose their power during fire season but I don’t thankfully. Otherwise I’d totally get this

I didn’t know this was a thing! I lost 6 months worth of milk back in April because someone didn’t shut the freezer door all the way after getting ice cream. I was so upset. I’m going to have to look into getting one. Thank you for sharing this

This is such a good tip!! I never really thought about a freezer alarm until hearing stories from moms who lost their whole stash 
After putting in all that time pumping and freezing milk, I cant even imagine opening the freezer and realizing it all went bad. $25 is definitely worth the peace of mind, especially when you have a big stash. I’m definitely gonna look into getting one because I would be HEARTBROKEN

Definitely do! When it happened to me, I went into a full panic attack. And then was so depressed for a few weeks. All the colostrum and everything gone.
