Our neighbors have been calling security and the police on us, one of the reasons being that my baby is crying. Meanwhile, our upstairs neighbors have two kids who are much louder than mine. The complaints have happened in the morning, afternoon, and evening, even though quiet hours here don’t start until 10 PM. And we live downtown, it’s never truly quiet.
To keep it short, the police showed up and knocked on our door to check if my babies were okay. Of course they are, they’re living their best lives. By the time the officers arrived, my baby had already stopped crying, so they were confused about why they were even called. They told me they were just doing their job.
I even had to replay my camera footage to show how long my baby cried. It was less than five minutes, about three. At the time, I was in the bathroom, and my older kids were trying their best to comfort their baby sister.
How do I know it’s that neighbor? We’ve lived here for half a year with no issues. But ever since they moved in, the complaints and visits from security and police started.
I was honestly close to reporting them for h*r*ssm*nt. But I will always be “YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOD SPIDERMAN”
Oh WOW! see this right here You are stronger than me because that’s actually wild that some people can lack empathy for others to call the police on a situation that doesn’t seem dangerous at all is cruel why would you do that to a mother who’s trying so hard literally that leaves me beside myself.
That is so messed up that your neighbors would do that! What is wrong with these people?! Hopefully the police will get tired of their calls soon enough since they know your kids are perfectly fine. It surprises me that the police actually showed up when quiet hours aren’t until 10pm
Yes the police and security got tired. It shows on our doorbell they’re there but they don’t knock anymore since they don’t hear anything serious enough to be worth their time.
Yep! I was even thinking of doing something to make them move out. like blasting really loud bass, lol. But the ICE protests already have my back hahaha. We live right next to where there are always protests. I didn’t even have to do anything bad to make my neighbor move out… I’ll just let the karma handle it for me
