Im homeschooling my daughter. She’s only 19 months old, but I’m constantly researching and implementing new ways of learning for her. Today, I put up educational posters all over my living room. With her seeing these posters every day, the information from them should sink in better. I have everything from the abcs and counting to shapes, colors, and more! I ordered these from Amazon, and there were reviews saying that their one year olds knew most of the information from using these posters every day. I put them up during her nap. When she woke up, she was so excited that she was running back and forth between them pointing at everything. It was so cute!!

It’s challenging at first because there’s no set curriculums I can find until they are like 4 years old. So far I have been finding the best ideas on YouTube. I feel like when I go online, it’s hard to find much specific to my daughter’s age group. I started homeschooling at 6 months old, trying to teach as much as she was capable of comprehending. Have you started yet? If so, where do you get your ideas?
Yay! I’m glad you like the posters too! It’s been fun going over them together. So far, she has almost mastered the colors poster. I ask her to point out each color, and she does such a great job. Her favorite one is the seasons/weather poster we keep by the window. I sing the seasons song I got off YouTube and tell her briefly what happens in each season. Then I talk about how the sky looks to decide what the weather is for the day. She loves to learn, and we have so much fun!
I use Montessori Homeschooling curriculum. They have stuff for year one (12-23 months) as well as 2.5-6 years old and a new one that like 3-7 years old. I will start the good and the beautiful curriculum when my baby is pre-k age.

I’ve been thinking of grabbing these posters. I homeschool my 9 year old and do a little of play teaching with my almost 2 year old. It really does click. Right now my two year old knows most of her colors counts to 10, and know the sounds of her letters. I’m hoping to get her reading before three ( I might be a little ambitious)

That’s pretty good! I hope I can get my daughter to that point by the time she’s 2.. I don’t know the first thing about age appropriate things beyond what my daughter is currently at, but it sounds like reading could be possible by 3.

Awww this is so cuteee 
I love how excited she got when she woke up and saw all the posters!! At 19 months they’re like little sponges, so even just having things around for her to look at and hear about can be such a fun way to learn. And her running back and forth pointing at everything 
that must’ve been the cutest thing ever. You can tell she was sooo proud to show you what she was interested in!
