What helped me the most to keep pumping for so long was knowing every time I pumped, it was one less can of formula we didn’t need to buy. It was knowing what my baby was eating every single meal. It was knowing she was getting all of those amazing antibodies. It was knowing my body was feeding my baby. No, it wasn’t easy at all. But having those constant reminders helped. I was an undersupply for literally a year until her breastmilk intake dropped and matched what I was producing I almost gave up so many times
Good for you, momma! I felt the same way. My milk came in late so I had to start with formula, but I was sooooo happy when I could provide breastmilk. I didn’t mind breastfeeding or pumping every 4 hours or waking up in the middle of the night to pump. My night shift mode kicked in. lol.
Thank you for keeping it so real about how hard this is. You are amazing for pushing through all those moments you wanted to give up. Sending you love beams ![]()
Way to go mama! It isn’t easy, but knowing we’re doing it for them makes it absolutely worth it!
I always think about the money we saved everytime I pump too and when I look up formula prices it really sinks in more! To me it’s also insane how expensive formula is
thank you for sharing your story! I’ve had so many times I was ready to give up but my heart just won’t let me
So glad that you didn’t give up! You are doing a great job momma!
Look at you go! Amazing mama!
