I am a mom, but motherhood isn’t the only thing that defines me, it is a huge part of who I am but I am more. I am also a wife, a woman of faith, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and someone who tries to be an encourager whenever I can. Being a mom is the most important job I will ever have and it is my favorite part of me and I want to do it well.
I love to cook and bake, go fishing, take care of my chickens, plant flowers, volunteer with our church, and do photography. I can share these things with my kids and teach them how to do it and it makes it even more special to me that they love it as well.
One thing I do just for myself is being a part of this community and connecting with the moms on here and it has helped me so much to come out of my shell and become less shy. It has given me a place to connect, learn, and feel like myself outside of being “Mom”.
I am a momma who is still learning, still growing, and giving it my all and trying my best to teach my kids to be kind human beings and to love Jesus and others. I am so thankful that I get to be their momma. I get to watch them learn and grow and become these amazing little people. I know the days can be hard and long and it isn’t always easy, but it is the biggest blessing I could ever ask for and I am forever grateful that I get to live this life with them and my husband.
I am amomandmorebut being their momma will always be my favorite part of who I am.
Love this!! So nice to learn more about you. I absolutely agree that you are an encourager. Every time I see you write something it has so much love and thought into it!
Love this Rachel and love being a lie to grow and learn along side you here as well!!! You are such much more and it’s been a honor connecting with you here
You were actually one of the first people I met on the momcozy community. I always read your posts and I also relate to a lot of them. You are also very active on this platform and always helping other moms and I appreciate that.
What a beautiful reflection! I love how you pass down your passions to your kids. That’s so special. And I’m so glad this community has given you a space to come out of your shell and connect. I have fun connecting with you here Rachel đ–ą
I love how you said that being a mom is the most important job you’ll ever have and your favorite job. I feel exactly the same way about motherhood. It’s almost my entire identity right now, and I enjoy it. I’m glad Momcozy is doing this momandmore theme though. I know I need to focus on myself a little more because I tend to get lost in motherhood. I know it won’t be like this as my daughter gets older, and I don’t want to completely lose myself and not know what to do with myself once she is more independent.
Christ is very important in our household too, and I try my best to instill good Christian morals and values in my daughter. I want her to have the same passion and desire to get to know Jesus with all her heart and to share His word with others and bring joy into their lives.
I feel the same it’s ok to get lost in motherhood I will have time for myself later (I still do little things for myself because you need to) but they grow so fast and I am trying to soak it all in and that’s my priority right now too all of the other can wait because I can’t get these days back
We want the same for our kids and it is so awesome to see them grow in their faith! It’s so important.
I have enjoyed getting to know you on here and see how much we have in common and how we share many of the same values
Exactly! Gotta make as many memories as possible and soak it all up. It’s a lot of fun, so yeah, everything else can wait. Every once in awhile I try to do something for myself (even something as simple as taking a shower alone ).
I love that we share a lot of the same values too. It’s so cool we have so much in common! I’ve enjoyed getting to know you too!
Nice to meet you!! So many hobbies. It’s so great that you can still have so many enjoyable things to do after becoming a mom. I love eating desserts and bakeries, but I don’t know how to make
You can really how much love and gratitude you have for your family and all the little pieces that make you you! Its so sweet there are beautiful mother’s like you out there, you’re kids are lucky to have you!
I love sweets as well. I always eat way too many postpartum though because I have had gestational diabetes 3 times and had to start a diet as soon as I find out I was pregnant and have to go 9 months without them
I feel like we could be such great friends haha. All your hobbies, cooking and baking, fishing, plants, volunteering with church, are all my hobbies too! I love that and I love this sweet picture!
