It can feel isolating but you're not alone!

One thing I hope this Support List doesn’t leave out is… that it CAN feel isolating. Having a baby can make you feel very isolated from the world. Healing after labor when everyone else is going about their business, the 3am feedings in the dark, when everyone else is sleeping, the baby that refuses to be put down and only wants to be held by you (while your coffee gets cold, again). It can be very isolating, BUT it gets better, you find your groove, you find your support system, you find the one little treat that helps you through the week.

One thing that helped me was embracing the fact that my little one only wanted to soothe on me. I kept telling myself she won’t be this little forever. I found comfort that she wanted Mama to snuggle and hold her. I also try my hardest to at least enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) a day. I have a collection of Disney coffee mugs and I find the one that best fits my mood for each morning, even it’s the one wayyy in the back. It’s my little treat to myself and hope baby allows me to enjoy it hot

I believe this tip should be added because it can be isolating to be a mom, but there is beauty in every stage of pregnancy and postpartum.. even the isolation :white_heart: you are not alone and every mother needs to know that!
