Just realized Sept is on Tuesday

My son starts daycare on Tuesday. I just want to cry. I don’t know if I’m ready yet. I guess I’ll have to be. I planned a long gradual entry until I join him. Ill be working in his class. I didn’t with his brother and missed so much work because of colds.

I feel like I’m entering a new stage of life with chaos and juggling. Between 2 kids schedules, therapy and extra curricular activities.

Moms how do you manage? My oldest is starting kindergarten the week after. So it’s a double whammy. :sob:

Oh Chantel I will be praying for you I know the transition will be tough for a little while. That is awesome you will get to be in his class when you join him! Sending my oldest to kindergarten was hard last year, I was pregnant then and blamed the hormones :joy:I cried the whole way there she thought it was so funny. She asked me if I was going to cry this year too.

Oh wow this sounds like so much and I wish I had better advice for you but I genuinely want to know how moms do it too! I only have one baby right now hoping for more in the future so I’ll take all the advice I can get!

You got this ! You are going to be amazing I think it’s all just a learning curve as life changes

Thank you. I know it will get better. My plan is to do a lot of meal prep before going back to work to make life easier. I’m so thankful I can be with him but it does have its challenges.

I’m probably going to bawl my eyes out too.

Thank you! It’s definitely going to be a big learning curve for our whole family. Thankfully we can take it one step at a time. I truly wish I could just stay home but it’s not in the cards at the moment

How nice that you will be able to be in the classroom with him! That will make the transition so much easier for him. I know it’s a lot to juggle with having 2 kids and going back to work. I hope everything goes well!

I’m sorry. It’s hard and life is so expensive raising kids. I hope you just have to do part time tho

Yes it will be pretty great. I worked with my oldest too. It was a bit challenging at first tho.

I’m giving him almost 2 months to get use to other people tho. My goal is to get my coworkers to be able to get him to sleep. He’s very attached and I know it’s going to take a while. Currently it’s just me, stroller and car that can get him to sleep. He just started taking a bottle by someone else as long as I’m not there. We are slowly making progress.

What an exciting and sad time!! Sending you love momma!

That’s great you’re making some progress! I can only imagine how hard it must be when your child is used to being with you 24/7.
