Keeping it flowing but not too fast 🌙

I can’t sleep straight for 5-8 hours because my left side always gets engorged. So before I feed my baby, I always pump first, otherwise she ends up choking since it’s too full and the flow’s too fast. Pumping first helps me relieve the pressure and keeps my baby from choking. Have a good night y’all!

That’s an awesome pump session! How long do you usually pump before nursing?

This is such a good tip! I wish I had known this in the beginning. I had no clue why my daughter kept pulling away and crying. I discovered much later on that it was because I have a fast milk flow. It’s crazy, I still have a fast milk flow at 19 months in. My daughter at least tells me now. She will shake her finger at my boob and say “no, no”, and then she switches to the other side lol
