Less Chaotic road trip

Memorial Day weekend was our first long drive with two little ones. The drive there was good, nothing too crazy. On the way back, my 2 year old and my 5month old decided to lose it. Hubby and I navigated a crying toddler, or a crying baby, or crying kids. At one moment both of them were screaming a the top of their lungs. I honestly do not know how I stayed calm as I drove to the nearest place.

Thank goodness for my hubby for squeezing between the two car seats for the last two hours so we could get home.

For this summer, I really hope our next road trip is less adventurous and less time.

Road trips with kids are interesting you never know what your going to get  I just did a solo 4 hr trip with my 6year old, 3 year old, and 3 month old and I don’t want to have to do that again for a while  they were good on the way there but on the way back they were so tired and were just over it and ready to be home and so was I haha. I hope yalls next road trip is better

Our Memorial Day road was chaotic too!!! I hope for smoother rides to come for both of us! Although I only had a crying baby ! You are so strong for being calm with two , I think I would end up crying too hahaha

I have 4 kiddos and my youngest are 2 and 5 months as well, and my gosh it is sooo overstimulating when they scream and cry at the same time! Way to go navigating through that

That sounds so stressful. I can’t stand it when my daughter cries in the car. I feel so helpless. She doesn’t understand why she has to stay in her car seat and I want to take her out so bad. I literally feel her cry in my bones!
