Girl same. I don’t drink coffee a lot so it really does get hard throughout the day. Usually if I’m very exhausted I find eating a full meal helps. I sometimes forget to eat
I totally get it! I feel the same way! My son just hate sleeping every night, he can wakes up 4-5 times…
The best suggestions I could say is try to eat well, 3 meals a day with some snack. Drink water often! Try to treat yourself once in a while… It helps to refill your energy.
If you can, try to sleep when your kid’s having a nap.
I will try to start becoming better with eating. I honestly think I may need to build my appetite back up. I forget to eat most the time and end up eating once a day when the kids are already asleep.
Have you ever had your thyroid levels checked? I know kids are exhausting but if you are overly tired it could be affecting you with the hormones. I have a low thyroid and it makes me exhausted and I have to take medication for it and can definitely tell a difference if I forget to take it.
I have not! My mom does have thyroid issues! I’m not sure if that’s something that can be passed down? I’ll have to ask my drs. No matter how much sleep I get I always feel so exhausted
Yes it is both of my parents have thyroid issues as well. that’s how I was I could get sleep and still be so exhausted and the medicine helps so much I’m just tired from having 3 kids now instead of being exhausted no matter how much rest I got
Gosh I wish I had advice sister. Same though. Thank God my husband is home for a couple more weeks. God bless you. Idk how you do it momma, really sending you love, support and prayers
I feel the same! I saw that someone else commented about thyroid issues. My mom and my grandmother both had low thyroid and took a synthroid pill which helped them. So I always have it in the back of my mind to get checked, which I bring up to my primary care doctor and they can add it to your yearly bloodwork.
The only thing that keeps me going is coffee in the morning. But I get the mid day sleepiness too. I’m trying to make sure to exercise more. Drinking enough water is another big one for me. I don’t know if those 2 things directly affect your energy, but I’m hoping so!
