Hi guys , its me again :heart:
Now i am pumping about 3 times per day using my air 1 pump . My question is i bought milk storage bags , I produce about 60 ml each pump from both breats and i put them in the bag , can i re-open the bag the rest of the day to put the rest of the pumps ? It have ziplock . Also how do you guys clean the pumps between the pumps :joy: iam going crazy . Ps : i dont have bottle washer or sterilizer​:pleading_face: .

Hi There! I would recommend getting a pitcher or some milk storage bottles then bagging at the end of the night. I don’t know about you, but I could definitely see myself spiling milk trying to add more to an already sealed bag. For the pump parts I usually put them in a Ziploc bag and stick them in the back of my refrigerator until my next pump. Then I wash and sterilize every night after the day is done so that they’re fresh and clean for the following day. Some people prefer to wash after each pump, but I’m not able to do that at work so the fridge method works for me. Hope this helps!

I’ve heard it’s best to have 2 storage containers (or bags), and that you shouldn’t add freshly pumped breast milk to breast milk that’s already cold.

I’m going to have to second this! I was going crazy washing pump parts I did end up with a bottle washer but the fridge hack worked for me as well, I ALso bought a collapsing portable camping sink I would keep it full of soapy water and I’d dip and rinse after each session sometimes,

Also I have heard not to add fresh milk to old milk in the bags so I’ve always just filled up a bag and dated then then froze immediately
