I have had a tumultuous lactation journey… I haven’t been able to breastfeed as my son experienced heart failure at 5 days old. I was able to induce lactation after about 2-2.5 months pp as I hadn’t established a supply. I went from dry pumping to getting drops, then getting 1ML to now producing around 7-9+ oz a day. I still supplement with formula at night and fortify my breastmilk with formula because baby needs a calorie dense diet but I’m providing him with something that benefits him so much. I have been exclusively pumping for nearly 3 months now and I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved. I have 4 days worth of feeds for him in the fridge at any given time. My momcozy milk storage bottles have been a huge support in storing my milk, keeping it fresh and easily accessible. This journey hasn’t been easy but it’s so worth it to give my baby the good stuff

I keep pushing myself every day to keep going. I just hope I can keep growing my output. I’d love to be able to feed him all of my milk.

I’m just gonna keep up with pumping for as long as I can! I want him to get as much of my milk for as long as possible!
Wow that is really amazing! I am so happy for you! That is such a big deal!! You didn’t give up, and did what you had to to feed your baby, and this is a really big accomplishment

lots of nuts help too! Almonds and cashews are my favorite!!
I didn’t know fat in breastmilk was a good thing. Good to know!
Yess! Very good! & My little one especially needs all the extra fat he can get because he’s in the second percentile of weight.
That’s so awesome!!! I’m glad it has a lot of fat. That should really help him then ![]()
