I love the idea behind this event and I think it’s so cool to learn more about the community. I wanted to introduce myself a little and share what I was like before I became a mom this year!
I thought I’d share one of my favorite things that I’ve done before having babies. I have always loved hiking and a couple years ago I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail by myself. Growing up, my dad used to bring me and my two sisters to the White Mountains in NH and I always had a fondness for that area and the beauty of it. When we used to camp we would see thru hikers and I remember thinking I wanted to go on an adventure like that some day. Then I made it a reality!
Fast forward to this year and I’m starting my absolute favorite adventure of my life with having my twinnies! I can’t wait to take them out and show them the beauty of the outdoors. I think it’s so amazing as moms to incorporate our interests and hobbies and I look forward to discovering what my babies will be into.

Hey so I love this so much!!! Before i became a mom I was a NPS National Park Service Backcountry trail worker, I did that for 10 years my partner is still running a trail crew in Yosemite
I worked in alot of parks like sequoia NP Kings Canyon and mostly Yosemite
