Napping when you can

One thing I hope this Support List doesn’t leave out is…

Napping when you can. Especially when you are up at night during a sleep regression can be beneficial. Even just 20 mins can make you feel so much better.

Having broken up sleep is so hard but it’s easier to manage when you aren’t as sleep deprived. Also trading off with your partner when you can. My husband takes over on the weekends and I get caught up on some much needed sleep.

As a mom of 2 napping is hard. I usually have one on the couch while my youngest is asleep in his crib. My oldest will watch tv and come snuggle in with me.

When I went back to work with my first I would have a catnap on my break. It definitely helped me get through my shift.

Never underestimate the power of a quick catnap! Catching sleep whenever you can is so important for surviving those broken nights. :cherry_blossom:

Naps are literally my favorite thing to do now because even if I get a five minute nap, it does make a difference :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I try so hard to put both kids down for a nap in the afternoons and if I can get them to sleep I join in too! We NEED any little rest we can get! So yessss, take a nap when you can!!
