Let me introduce myself. My name is Jody I am a new first time mom. My baby is almost six months old and I finally feel like we have a routine and somewhat some normalcy back in the house. I go back to work next week and it’s really wrecking havoc on my mental health. Looking forward to being in this group for the sense of community. I was introduced to momcozy when I was gifted a momcozy m5 pump off my registry and I love it
What helps me feel better and centered is getting outside and walking or honestly being a part of these mom groups
Welcome to the community Jody! Six weeks goes by so fast, and going back to work is such a heavy transition. Sending you the biggest hug as you navigate next week! So glad your M5 has been a hit and that you joined us here for support! And neat pic
You got this mama retuning to work is hard but one thing you have to look forward too is seeing your little one as soon as you get home and can get all the snuggles you have so desperately missed all day. It will get easier with time just remember that.
Welcome to the community ! this is a safe place and everyone here is so kind and has a lot of tips. I know it must be hard for you to go back to work since your baby is still pretty young, but you got this. I have the M6 and I love it, but I’ve also heard a lot of good things about the M5.
Hi Jody! congratulations on your sweet 6 week old baby. And I’m soooo sorry your mental health is so impacted negatively with returning to work it’s such a hard period. Best advice I can give is just take it one day at a time, mama. You can do this, we’re all cheering for you!! I’ve been thinking about taking up walking on days I’m not in the gym.
Welcome, Jody! So glad you’re here.
First, huge congratulations on finding a routine at almost six months—that’s a big win. And it’s completely normal for going back to work to shake up your mental health, even when you feel “ready.” You’re not alone in that.
Love that your intro pump was the M5—such a solid first wearable, and perfect for easing into pumping while you juggle everything else. And you’re so right: getting outside for a walk and being in mom groups can be lifelines on the heavy days.
This community is a safe space to vent, ask questions, and just be real. You’ve got a whole village of mamas here cheering you on as you head back to work.
Welcome to the community Jody! Getting outside helps me as well as the Momcozy groups it is nice to have a place to talk to mommas who understand what you are going through
