A unexpected moment from my day today was going in for my NST, monitored visit. Baby boy was super active and I was having Braxton hicks, I asked the nurse do she see it and she said no. But she kept looking at the monitor like something was off. She finally gets me off. I get a second opinion from another nurse that usually handles me, she says if anything was wrong there’s two doctors that always look at the sheets. I leave pick my niece up because I promised her Chuck E. Cheese. Soon as we pull up. I get a call from the doctor because they wanted a more accurate heart rate because it was all over the place. So I had to go back to the hospital. By the time I got back, baby boy was sleeping. Then he was too calm and they kept trying to wake him up and buzzed my stomach twice. It was so annoying. It’s like they want baby awake but not too active and if asleep they try to wake him. It was just annoying, overwhelming, a waste of time and gas. I was sooo hungry and just about to get pizza lol, I was hangry. Overall ended the night with my niece enjoying herself and the pizza was delicious. Finally home and can kick my feet up.

I’m glad they double checked for you because I had to be monitored and induced because my baby’s heart rate was lower than they liked when I went to my last appointment sent me to labor and delivery and they monitored me for about an hr and a half and it came up within range so I got to go home but had to be back at 4 am to be induced the next morning to be on the safe side. It was scary but it was definitely the right decision.
That pizza looks so good!
Yes that’s why I went back, I knew it was important. Just glad everything turned out good. I don’t even have his stroller yet, it was supposed to come today and got delayed until tomorrow. I still need to pack our bags ![]()

Um sorry you had a rough day, but I’m glad they double checked everything to make sure baby is okay. Hope you were able To get some rest when all was said and done!
Yay your so close! I got induced at both.
How scary! I’m so glad everything is okay. Yeah girl, you better pack those bags just in case! Chuck e cheese sounds like fun. I bet she had such a great time! I used to be a two piece of pizza kind of girl, but ever since I was pregnant, I can eat an entire pizza to myself. It’s crazy how hungry I am all the time!
