One post the resonates with me is this one by @mama216 because the amount of confusion and anxiety that went into every pump was so real, not every pump is going to look the same and that is not a bad thing! It’s actually quite normal and I wish someone would have told this to me when I first began my journey! It would have definitely eased my fears and allowed me to “Go With The Flow” pun intended

One Thing I Wish Someone Told Me About Pumping

One thing I hope this Support List doesn’t leave out is this: you do not have to do every pumping session perfectly for it to count. In the beginning, I put so much pressure on myself to pump at the “right” time, get a certain amount of milk, and stay consistent even when I was exhausted. Some sessions felt successful, while others felt frustrating or produced very little. What helped me most was remembering that one difficult session does not define my feeding journey.
