I wish… I wish we could save precious moments without always having the phone out to take pictures. I want to figure lot the best solution to be present but save the memories.

I know what you mean! I miss out on a lot of good pictures of my daughter because I just want to live in the moment without having to preserve the moment by taking a picture, therefor not being as in the moment as I would like to be

It’s so easy to get caught up in the picture taking! I didn’t realize how much of a problem it was until I was at the grocery store and pulled my phone out to transfer money and when I looked back up, my 4 month old was grinning ear to ear at the back of my phone… sometimes he tracks it and ignores me completely! So so hard to find a balance!

It really is!! I find myself saying, PUT IT AWAY but then I have it out again.
That’s so cute how he smiles at your phone for pictures! I totally understand your concern though. It’s hard to lead by example sometimes when we are used to using our phones for so much. The last thing we want is our babies obsessed with technology instead of paying attention to us and real life
