What I wish I knew as a first time mom is to wait in buying clothes, and packing more of a bigger size clothes. My baby came out weight 8lbs I know there are bigger babies but she is on the taller side, so new born clothes were not it! Lol I did take an outfit that was 0-3 but I wasn’t her best outfit… overall I’m blessed to have my beautiful baby girl. Also doctors/nurses never really said anything about her being big

I had the opposite problem and the clothes I brought were too big. With my other babies I packed different sizes to be sure something fit

Everyone told me to bring only 0-3 that newborn clothes rarely actually fit a newborn… my baby swam in her going home outfit

This is so relatable because you never really know how much the baby is gonna weight and you also don’t wanna waste money on buying clothes that are not gonna fit.

I can agree on this. My 1st was a preemie, unexpected, so all her clothes were to big. My second was almost 8 pounds so most of her clothes to small lol
