🌸From the beginning of breastfeeding journeyi have noticed that period can affect my milk supply!

Then i realized that some breastfeeding moms notice a temporary drop in milk output a few days before or during their period. You may also notice a slower let-down or that your baby wants to nurse more often.

✨So, my tips:

• Keep breastfeeding or pumping regularly.

• Stay hydrated and eat well.

• Rest whenever you can.

• Don’t panic—your supply usually returns to normal after your period. ❤

Every body is different, so be gentle with yourself.

A temporary dip doesn’t mean your breastfeeding journey is ending. 🤱🏻💕

Yessss this is such a good reminder!! I feel like it’s so easy to see a drop in output and immediately panic like “omg what am I doing wrong” 😭 When really sometimes our bodies are just doing their thinggg. I love the reminder to keep nursing or pumping, eat, drink your water and REST when you can. That last one is so hard tho 😂 A temporary dip doesnt mean your supply is gone or that you’re doing anything wrong. Be gentle with yourself mama ❤

Such an important tip! When I got my cycle back, I experienced that dip in supply and started freaking out! I had no idea that’s normal and it would come right back to normal!
