Today I went to my grandmas house to see our new peach tree be planted. I stumbled upon a program that offers memorial trees to be planted for families who have experienced late term loss, started by a woman local to me who experienced the same thing. This tree is a loving living reminder of my son, Jazz, who I lost at 33.5 weeks pregnant. Today is a big day for me. Heavy hearted, full of love and grateful for my son Stevie who is almost 5 months old now and will get to watch this peach tree grow.
I feel supported by the woman who started this program and by my mom and grandmother who will look after and care for the tree.
