Postpartum and PPD

One thing I’d like to share about my postpartum journey….

With my first son, he was born October 30th, there was virtually no sunshine, it was gloomy all the time. With that postpartum journey I was diagnosed with PPD…

With my second and third sons I had them at the beginning of July… it was beautiful (although a bit warm:sweat_smile:), the sun was shining… I overthought a bit too much and caught myself inside for the first couple of weeks.. I felt awful… I finally broke out of my shell and took my little outside… OH MY! I instantly felt so much better. Since then I’ve made a routine of getting outside in the sunshine with the fresh air. I have had absolutely no signs of PPD. Being a mom to three boys and two that are 13 months and under, I’d like to share my experience and a simple solution in case of you start feeling a little down. The fresh air and sunshine are absolutely life changing :sun::sun_with_face: and such a simple solution :two_hearts:

So beautiful! It’s crazy what a little sunshine and fresh air can do for the postpartum soul, especially with three little guys to keep up with. Thank you for the gentle reminder to step outside today! :growing_heart:
