One thing I hope they don’t leave out of the cozysupportlist tipsworthadding is that you should ALWAYS be open and honest with how you are feeling. Find someone you can talk to about what you are going through. It could be your spouse, family, friends, your doctor or a therapist. So many moms get lost in the background and feel so alone when there are SO many women that experience the same thing. You are not alone and there are people that want to help, but to recieve help you first have to be honest about what is going on inside.
If you have sat and cried uncontrollably (even if it was just over spilled milk), rocked your baby to sleep while hurting inside, had angry outburst because you are overwhelmed , exc, just know that you are not alone. We are all human, nobody is perfect. Don’t let how you feel eat away at you. Postpartum is filled with so many emotions and changes, don’t let it consume you.
This is great advice. Mommas think they have to do it all on their own and don’t want to feel judged for reaching out and saying that they aren’t ok. Thank you for sharing for a momma that needs to hear it because it’s ok to not be ok and getting help is so important and makes them a better momma for it!
This is really good advice one thing that I do if my husband is unavailable, I like to write things in a diary. I find that writing my feelings down helps me be able to process why I’m feeling that way and how to overcome it. I also really like listening to music and going to the gym to help relax me as well. ![]()
That is so very true, thank you for sharing and expressing that with everyone. It is such an important topic. Sending healing energy your way and loving light. ![]()
