Pumping Storage…

A challenge I’m having with pumping is storage. On a previous post I posted my collection. I’m going to post an updated picture since then. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make more room until I can get a deep freezer. I feel like subconsciously I’ve been taking longer breaks between pumping because I’m running out of space in my freezer (Besides just getting lazy with pumping lol). How do you store your freezer stash? Any tips or tricks? momandmore

Someone once suggested alternating positions so like bottom face down then top facing down then repeating does that make sense? Like bottom of the bag out then the next one top of the bag out and repeat

I agree. That helps!

I had a deep freezer and that helped. I also donated a lot to the local hospital.

So mom that’s wonderful! You got plenty! I would do one bag right side up and one bag upside down. That’s how I store mine for more room

wow that is amazing !!!

i recommend one bag one way and the other the other way- helps so they are more flat. And milk bag flattners. You can use a plastic pencil case or different companies have things made for it.

Yes I will be getting a deep freezer real soon. I’ve been wanting to donate, I also seen it’s like you get $250 (if I’m not mistaken when you donate to a hospital.) Do you just call the hospital to donate?

Thank you .

Do yours also slide off once it reaches the top?

Thank you. I’m going to look into the bag flattners. And yes I want to give those cases a try, I just have so many I hope it all fits, and makes it easier not harder lol.

I am certified through the Mothers Milk Bank of Austin (I live in Houston). I had to go through a blood test, application, letter from OB and oral interviews to be certified. I donate to the local hospital that is affiliated with the Milk Bank. Check to see if your state has something similar or contact your hospital and they might be able to help.

As for the $250, I have done this as well. You need to fill out the form and complete the instructions with ConceiveAbilities. You need to prove how much you’ve donated and you’ll get a $250 Amazon gift card.

I hope this helps. I’m happy to answer more questions if you have them.

Thank you so much that helped a lot. I will check to see what my area offers and ask my OB at my upcoming appointment. :sparkles:

Literally my next thing I’m going to give a try, I feel like this will be more space than the containers. Thank you  :sparkles:
