Hello I would like to know, do I need to pump at the hospital or is it ok to pump after coming home?

It depends are you directly breastfeeding? I’d say if you have a baby that’s latching and feeding off you you can wait till you get home !!

If you are wanting to breastfeed do skin to skin and latch the baby as often as you can it will help your milk to come in. If you feel engorged I would use a Manual pump or hand express just enough to feel relief. You can use a Hakka or collection cups on the other side while you are feeding to collect extra milk.
If you are wanting to exclusively pump, you should start right away and set a pumping schedule. if you are pumping make sure that you have the correct flange size your pump should come with a ruler and give you instructions on how to measure.
Drink lots of water because staying hydrated makes a big difference as well.
