Safe Milk storage!

I think we can all agree that moving milk from the pump to the bag or another bottle can be scary! I have lost milk a couple times and the old saying’ don’t cry over spilled milk’ is wrong!! I’ve definitely cried over this! I’m not the only one!

When pouring my milk at home, I started to put my bags in a glass cup and THEN I transfer the milk. I don’t want to lose a drop! I’m a just enougher and that’s hardly a just enougher. So I truly need every drop. :baby_bottle:

What are your tricks to prevent spilled milk?

I hope this helps someone:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

This is so smart because even whenever I lose just a little bit of milk I get very sad especially whenever it spills on my shirt or something. It’s just a saddest thing ever and I really like this about the glass bottle. This will make it so much easier.

I put mine in a bowl! I also use a flange to pour my milk into a bag and I let my bottles sit for a second after pouring and then pour them again

Wonderful!! A bowl is also a great option! And the flange is brilliant

I love this what a great tip!! I always spill my milk and then I get so sad !!! I’ve kinda gotten a lot better at getting it in the bag but I wish I was smart and knew about this trick

Tori said she puts a flange in the bag and then pours! such a great idea. Another mom says she uses a mason jar to store it. The bags are tough when the opening is not tha big.
