Shots

My son just got his 6 month shots the other day. He was crying when the nurse handed him back to me. I held him, said his name, and told him it was okay. He stopped crying almost immediately. It broke my heart, but it’s also nice knowing I can comfort him so quickly.

So sweet. It breaks your heart to see them cry, but knowing your arms are his safest place is the most beautiful reward. You are his whole world! :heart_hands:

I am! He’s definitely a mama’s boy.

I am. Whenever he needs anything and cries is sounds like he’s saying mama or mum. It might be babbling, but I count it as his first word.

I dread shot days. I usually end up crying with her! My husband gets to be the bad guy and hold her down next time. I don’t think I can take it again

It’s so amazing how we can comfort our babies but it’s so heartbreaking when they feel pain I HATE SHOT DAY every time :sob:

I swear shot day is harder for parents than babies. They won’t remember. We do.

I have to be my baby’s calm and it’s so hard. I’m with you mama.
