Honestly, this is a current thing. I don’t know if we’ll ever get to a place where we know the answers to this. I’ve gotten better now that I have two little babes, but I wish I knew how to help with sick babies. At their age, it doesn’t really seem like anything actually helps their symptoms. I tried to avoid medication, but I do Motrin when needed for fevers.
I thought having one sick, babe was hard
I knew having two kids would be hard, but I just never knew how hard it would be in both are sick at the same time because you’re only one person and you can’t hold the two of them. You get overstimulated and they’re both so fussy and so tired so uncomfortable all you wanna do is help but it’s so hard to help.
I don’t know what do you do whenever your kiddos are both sick? We have no fever yet, but both are fussy. Both have mucus still and both threw up today. This is honestly the first kind of sick like this I’ve ever had with them.
I can only imagine how difficult it must be with both of them being sick like that. It feels so hopeless when they’re sick and there’s nothing you can do but comfort them. I hope they start feeling better!
I felt this way too! I have 4 babies and having them all sick at the same time seemed like a never ending battle, one would get better then all 3 would be in the trenches and so on and get one another sick again! I felt stretched thin and my husband of course works, I would basically laying on the couch or make a floor bed in the living room and everyone would cuddle around!
Oh I feel for you love. I hope they feel and get better soon. It has to be one of the saddest things when babies get sick because like you said it’s only so much you can do to help them.
